Original paintings and fine art prints exploring the tension between abstraction and the human form.
Featured Projects
“Coming Home”
This piece reflects a quiet exchange between generations.
It speaks to what is carried forward when homes are lost, when histories are interrupted, when return becomes both memory and promise. Responsibility and hope existing at the same time. A symbol of resistance, representing the enduring claim to return.
Original artwork and limited edition fine prints available for purchase. 50% of proceeds from this piece will be donated to Ele Elna Elak and Banin Charity, supporting communities affected by displacement in Palestine and Lebanon.
“Rêverie”
This piece sits with the gap between what's carried and what's shown.
A quiet figure traced in a single line, left open and almost unfinished. Above her, everything she doesn't say, built up in dense, textured layers until it holds real weight on the canvas. What people see is the outline. What she carries is everything above it.
Original artwork available for purchase.
I’m Kamakshi, a Dubai-based artist working at the intersection of abstract expression and figurative art. My work is shaped by the contrast of light and shadow, the quiet in-between moments, and the human form partially revealed and partially withheld.
I focus on expression, using bold brushstrokes, layered color, and subtle symbolic detail to explore femininity, cultural identity, and the balance between strength and vulnerability.
